About the Role
Do you believe that relationships are at the heart of learning? Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers, rebuild confidence and rediscover a love of education?
At Belmont School, we're looking for an exceptional Nurture Teacher to lead our Nurture Group and create a safe, supportive environment where pupils can flourish academically, socially and emotionally. This is much more than a teaching role. It's an opportunity to make a profound difference to the lives of children who need understanding, consistency and someone who truly believes in their potential.
At Belmont School, we recognise that children's learning is understood developmentally and that emotional wellbeing underpins success. As our Nurture Teacher, you'll lead a small group of pupils with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs, providing highly personalised support through a carefully structured and nurturing approach. You'll create a classroom that feels safe, predictable and welcoming-a place where pupils can build trusting relationships, regulate emotions and experience success.
Working closely with families, support staff and external professionals, you'll remove barriers to learning and empower pupils to achieve outcomes they may never have thought possible.
Every interaction matters. Every small step forward is celebrated. Every day is an opportunity to change a life.
