Vehicle Technician


Location: Exeter
Salary: Up to £34,000 Basic OTE £40,000
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week Saturday Mornings on a Rota
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.


Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Completing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work
Achieving first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis
Following manufacturer and health & safety procedures
Maintaining workshop equipment and a safe working environment
Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture
Speaking with customers where required to assist with technical explanations
Ensuring every vehicle is treated with the highest level of care


About You
You'll ideally have:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Excellent attention to detail
Full UK Driving Licence
MOT Tester qualification desirable but not essential
