I'm working on a Monitoring Engineer contract opportunity that I thought might be relevant to your background.
The role is fully remote, with occasional travel to the office 1-2 days per month, and offers up to 580 per day (Inside IR35), 6 months rolling contract.
We're looking for someone with strong observability and monitoring experience across technologies such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, APM, and SRE practices. A key requirement is holding a Dynatrace Associate Certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement monitoring and observability solutions.
- Configure and support Dynatrace, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and visualisations.
- Deliver APM, infrastructure, synthetic, and log monitoring solutions.
- Support live services, incidents, and problem resolution.
- Analyse performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Work with architects and project teams to embed monitoring into new solutions.
- Drive SRE and observability best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and document solutions.
- Support continuous improvement and monitoring tool optimisation.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
