Job Description

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected business looking to add a Customer Service Administrator to their friendly and supportive team in Desborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, takes pride in delivering a first-class service and is looking to develop within a successful business that genuinely invests in its people. Full training will be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone with customer service, administration or sales support experience.

The Role

As a key member of the customer service team, you'll be responsible for ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient experience from enquiry through to order completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Preparing quotations and processing customer orders accurately
  • Resolving customer queries and providing timely updates
  • Working closely with internal departments including Sales, Finance and Marketing
  • Building strong relationships with customers while delivering an outstanding level of service
  • Supporting the wider team with a variety of administrative tasks

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes a proactive approach to delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience within customer service, administration or sales support would be beneficial; however, we're also keen to hear from recent graduates who can demonstrate excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to build a long-term career.

Ideally you'll have:

  • Previous experience within customer service, administration or sales support
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A positive, professional and team-focused attitude

Experience with ERP, CRM or stock management systems would be beneficial but isn't essential, as full training will be provided.
