The Role You'll be responsible for managing the lettings process from end to end, ensuring properties are allocated efficiently and new tenancies are created smoothly while delivering an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants. Complete tenancy sign-ups and ensure all documentation is accurate. Review and process tenancy notices. Allocate properties through Choice Based Lettings (CBL). Carry out pre-tenancy assessments to ensure applicants are suitable for tenancy. Work closely with internal teams to minimise void turnaround times. Provide a professional, customer-focused service throughout the lettings process. About You To be successful in this role, you'll have: Previous experience working as a Lettings Officer within the social housing sector . Proven experience conducting viewings , tenancy sign-ups , reviewing notices , allocating properties via Choice Based Lettings (CBL) and completing pre-tenancy assessments . A strong understanding of the social housing lettings process. Excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to manage a busy workload and work independently. Assessing applicant suitability by reviewing housing need, affordability, and previous tenancy conduct. Minimising rent loss by ensuring efficient turnaround of vacant properties. Processing tenancy changes in accordance with legislation, contractual rights, and bpha policies.
