Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos surveying services across the South West. THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across a diverse range of client sites throughout Bristol and the surrounding region.

Working independently and alongside an experienced operations team, the Asbestos Surveyor will ensure all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining compliance with HSG264, current legislation, and UKAS procedures.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

  • Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties

  • Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports

  • Managing your own diary and workload efficiently

  • Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams

  • Maintaining accurate records using electronic reporting systems

  • Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BOHS P402 qualification (essential)

  • Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor

  • Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation

  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
