Prepare and issue enquiries for major plant, equipment and subcontract packages. Commercially evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing and terms with vendors, and issue resultant purchase orders. Prepare and submit applications for payment and/or invoices, obtain payment certificates and progress client payments in accordance with contractual provisions. Measure, submit and agree variations, loss and expense claims, and/or compensation events in accordance with contractual provisions to facilitate the prompt agreement of final accounts. Monitor on-site record keeping and prepare and issue notices in accordance with contractual provisions. Prepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and Cash/Spend Profiles. Attend Contract Review Meetings. Authorise and code suppliers' and subcontractors' invoices and submit them to Finance for payment. Who We Are Looking For A Senior Quantity Surveyor with a successful track record in the construction industry. Educated to BSc level in Quantity Surveying (or another equivalent commercially related discipline). A strong understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 Contracts, including Options A, B, C, D and E, with predominantly Option A experience. Membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. MRICS or equivalent). Knowledge and practical experience within the construction and/or mechanical and electrical (M&E) sectors.
