Your responsibilities as Head of Finance
- Produce accurate monthly and annual financial reporting, including board packs and meaningful commentary
- Ensure statutory accounts and regulatory filings are completed in accordance with UK GAAP
- Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, HMRC, banking partners and investors
- Provide commercial financial support to the Group CFO and wider leadership team
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while maintaining high performance
- Deliver financial control improvements and lead key projects across the business
What we're looking for in a Head of Finance
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong background leading finance functions within the retail sector
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP
- Proven ability to manage statutory reporting and external stakeholder relationships
- Experience implementing financial controls and driving business improvement
