We are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Care Manager - Domiciliary Care to lead, develop, and expand our domiciliary care operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Care Manager looking to take the next step into a CQC Registered Care Manager role. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop client relationships, generate new business, and drive sustainable growth.
The Role
As the Care Manager Domiciliary Care, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our domiciliary care service, ensuring outstanding care delivery, regulatory compliance, and business growth. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our private client base while maintaining the high standards that have earned our service a Good CQC rating.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the domiciliary care service.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, relevant legislation, and company policies.
- Maintain and enhance the service s Good CQC rating through effective leadership and quality assurance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with private clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local stakeholders.
- Generate new business opportunities and increase private care referrals.
- Promote CAREX Group Ltd s services through networking, community engagement, and business development activities.
- Recruit, manage, motivate, and support a high-performing care team.
- Monitor and maintain exceptional standards of care, client satisfaction, and service quality.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve growth targets and strategic objectives.
- Manage staffing, care planning, quality assurance, and service delivery processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager, Deputy Manager, or Care Manager within a domiciliary care setting.
- Alternatively, an experienced Care Manager who is ready to progress into a Registered Care Manager position and can demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and capability required for CQC registration.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance requirements, and best practice standards.
- Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and securing private care clients.
- Excellent leadership, communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, with a strong focus on growth and results.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
- Right to work in the UK.
