What You'll Need 2-5 years in a finance/accounting role; part-qualified ACCA/CIMA desirable Experience assisting with month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations Experience producing financial reports and analysis Cloud accounting software experience (Xero preferred) Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Xlookup/Vlookup, Sumifs, data analysis & reporting) Solid understanding of accruals, prepayments, double-entry, and P&L/balance sheet structures HR tech, RPO, MSP, EOR, or vendor management experience is a plus A keen interest in how AI can improve finance processes What You'll Be Doing Month-end & management accounting Preparing journals (accruals, prepayments, adjustments), maintaining the fixed asset register, running balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting close to deadline. Reporting & analysis Producing financial reports and KPI packs, ad hoc analysis for management, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting. Transactional finance Supporting AP/AR, keeping Xero records accurate, and helping resolve finance queries. Process improvement Spotting opportunities to improve finance processes and controls, and helping build out automation and reporting within Xero and Excel.
