We're recruiting for an exciting Strategic Account Manager opportunity with a market-leading food & drink business. This isn't a traditional account management role - it's a chance to own, develop and grow a high-profile national sporting partnership, creating long-term commercial success for both businesses. You'll work closely with one of the UK's elite sporting organisations, driving strategic initiatives, identifying new commercial opportunities, analysing performance data and collaborating across multiple departments to maximise the value of the partnership. What you'll be doing: Managing and developing a flagship national sporting account. Creating and delivering strategic growth plans to strengthen the partnership. Identifying new commercial opportunities and leading business development initiatives within the account. Using sales and market data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for growth. Working closely with Marketing, Category, Commercial and Sales teams to deliver impactful campaigns and activations. Building senior-level relationships with key stakeholders. Measuring performance and presenting insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement. We're looking for someone who has: Experience within the food or drinks industry , either for a manufacturer, brand owner or supplier. Proven success managing large strategic or national accounts. Strong commercial and business development skills. Excellent analytical ability, with confidence interpreting sales and performance data. Experience working alongside marketing teams to develop customer initiatives. Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. A strategic mindset with the ability to influence at all levels. Desirable: An interest or passion for sport, particularly rugby, would be a real advantage, although it isn't essential.
