FLT Counterbalance Driver - Automotive Plastics (Warehouse/Production)We are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy plastics manufacturing site within the automotive industry. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term, ongoing work in a supportive and friendly environment.
Key Requirements:- Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
Duties May Include:- Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks safely in line with site procedures.
- Loading and unloading deliveries, including raw materials and finished plastic components.
- Transporting materials between warehouse, storage areas, and production lines.
- Ensuring production lines are consistently stocked to avoid downtime.
- Stacking and storing pallets in designated locations, including racking systems.
- Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects.
- Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes, including checking deliveries against paperwork.
- Using scanners or basic systems to track stock movements (if applicable).
- Supporting stock control, including pallet counts and location checks.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Hours of Work (Rotating Double Days):- Earlies - Monday to Thursday: 5:40am - 1:50pm and Friday: 5:40am - 11:30am
- Lates - Monday to Thursday: 1:40pm - 9:50pm and Friday: 11:20am - 5:10pm
Pay Rates:- £12.71 per hour (first 12 weeks)
- Increasing to £14.73 per hour after 12 weeks
