Working in a modern, fully equipped workshop, you'll repair accident-damaged vehicles using the latest manufacturer-approved repair methods and equipment, alongside an experienced and supportive team.

The Role

As an MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you'll be responsible for dismantling, repairing and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications. You'll play a key role in ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standard.

Your Responsibilities

• Strip and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components on accident-damaged vehicles.
• Carry out repairs using manufacturer-approved repair methods.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults where required.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest quality standards.
• Work efficiently within a busy, fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Collaborate with Panel Beaters and Paint Sprayers to maintain an efficient repair process.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip Fitter or Bodyshop Technician within a busy accident repair centre.
• Recognised apprenticeship with an NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, ATA or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• High attention to detail with pride in producing quality workmanship.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and excellent team-working skills.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards.
