Quality Officer (1 Year Fix Term Contract)

£30,000 - £34,000 per annum
We at JKR are supporting our client focused within chemical manufacturing recruit for a Quality Officer to join their team. You will be responsible for the delivery of Quality Framework across the organisation. Ensuring the Quality system is properly implemented and measuring its success through data collection and reporting
Quality Officer Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure AS9120B, ISO14001 and ISO 9001 standards are maintained through regular audits
- Identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities
- Create and maintain relevant audit metrics as contribution to Quality updates/reporting to senior management and key stakeholders
- Monitor suppliers to ensure they maintain ISO compliant
- Host supplier onsite/remote audits and complete supplier and customer surveys/questionnaires
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, systems & processes
- Be flexible to meet the demands of the role
- Maintain risk register.
- Completing internal audits
- Logging and following through non-conformances within the company, ensuring preventative actions are in place.
- Recording and logging all company KPI s
Quality Officer Ideal Candidate:
- Understanding and experience working with ISO standards
- Previous continuous improvement experience
- Been involved with internal auditing
- Worked with Microsoft Office and Sage 200
Quality Officer Working Hours and benefits:
- 38.7 Hours - Monday to Thursday 08 00, Friday 08 45
