As a Town Planner, you'll be involved in managing planning projects from initial appraisal through to securing planning permission, providing expert advice to a broad client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals and supporting documentation.
• Providing strategic planning advice to private and public sector clients.
• Undertaking site appraisals and planning due diligence.
• Liaising with local planning authorities, consultees and key stakeholders.
• Preparing planning statements and representations.
• Monitoring changes in planning legislation and local planning policy.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while delivering a high standard of professional service.

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

• A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• MRTPI status or be working towards chartership.
• Previous experience within a planning consultancy, local authority or developer.
• A sound understanding of the UK planning system and planning policy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.
