THE ROLE
As a Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for supporting the Aftersales Manager in the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Allocating and controlling workshop jobs to maximise productivity
Monitoring job progress and keeping the Service team updated
Carrying out quality control checks and final vehicle inspections
Managing labour utilisation, workshop equipment, and consumables
Ensuring compliance with manufacturer, warranty, and health & safety standards
Supporting, motivating, and developing workshop staff
Maintaining a safe, organised, and professional workshop environment
Helping to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and operational performance
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Service Advisor
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Excellent workshop planning and time management abilities
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality
Good IT and administrative skills
The ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
