Automatic Door Engineer
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: 17.00 - 20.00 per hour (Up to 41,600 Basic DOE) + D2D Travel

The Opportunity
A growing specialist engineering company is looking to recruit an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join its expanding team covering London and the surrounding areas. The successful engineer will primarily be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and installation of automatic doors, while also supporting work on roller shutters, gates and barriers.
The Role
You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding and installations across a diverse client base including commercial buildings, facilities management contracts and transport environments such as railway stations. The role requires a strong customer focus, excellent fault-finding ability and the confidence to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
An Enhanced DBS check will be required due to the nature of some client sites.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements
Applicants should have previous experience working on automatic door systems and possess strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Experience working on roller shutters, gates or barriers would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, be capable of managing their own workload and have excellent communication skills. Due to the nature of the contracts, an Enhanced DBS check will be required.
