We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer/Estimator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.
Summary of the Sales Engineer/Estimator role
Salary: £30,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday Thursday 7am-4.30pm if not working Friday.
If working the Friay shift the hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday - Thursday
1 in 4 Fridays
Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer/Estimator
- Manage and interpret both new and existing customer requirements
- Respond to technical sales enquiries
- Produce accurate quotes and prepare tenders, proposals, designs and technical documents this will involve looking at technical drawings.
- Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education
- Build and promote strong customer relationships
- Offer after-sales service
- Receive and accurately log customer sales enquiries
- Progress customer orders to completion and notify customers with any changes.
Requirements for a successful Sales Engineer/Estimator
- Experience working a similar role
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
