Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Looking for a Senior Residential Conveyancer to join a prestigious North East Law Firm and lead a busy Conveyancing Department you will be part of an extremely supportive and exprienced team. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into the title and legal status of residential properties to identify any issues or restrictions affecting the transaction.
• Prepare, review and manage all conveyancing documentation including contracts, transfer deeds and mortgage deeds.
• Provide clear and accurate advice to clients regarding the conveyancing process, legal implications and timescales.
• Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, surveyors and other stakeholders to facilitate timely and efficient transaction progress.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
• Manage the exchange of contracts and completion processes, including the calculation and handling of financial transactions.
• Identify and resolve any issues arising during the conveyancing process, escalating where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and case management systems to ensure efficient workflow and reporting.
• Keep updated with changes in property law and conveyancing best practise to provide the highest standard of service.
