About the role As Service Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, quality, and performance of your services. You'll work closely with customers, local authorities, commissioners, and partner agencies to create positive outcomes and ensure customer voice and co-production remain at the heart of everything we do. Key responsibilities include: Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team. Driving excellent person-centred support planning and customer outcomes. Championing customer involvement and co-production. Monitoring service performance, quality standards and KPIs. Managing occupancy, lettings, income collection and service budgets. Ensuring robust safeguarding practices and risk management. Building strong partnerships with external agencies and commissioners. Supporting customers to access employment, education and training opportunities. Embedding trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches across the service. Promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery. Participating in an on-call rota to support operational resilience when required. About you We're looking for someone who combines strong operational leadership with genuine compassion and a commitment to delivering excellent services. You'll ideally have: Experience in a management or team leadership role within Supported Living, Supported Housing, Social Care, Homelessness, Mental Health, Learning Disability or Young People's Services. A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) within housing, support, health or social care. Strong knowledge of person-centred support, safeguarding, risk management and supported housing services. Experience leading and motivating teams in a busy, fast-paced environment. An understanding of housing and tenancy-related legislation. Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
