The role involves working with wood, metal and plastics to assemble and fit out modular buildings while following production schedules and technical drawings. The Construction Assembly Operative will prepare materials and components, carry out trimming and finishing work, install fixtures and fittings, assist with basic electrical and plumbing installations, operate hand and power tools safely, complete quality inspections and ensure all work meets company standards. Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: Previous experience as an Assembly Operative within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of carpentry, joinery, plumbing, electrics or general DIY works Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or manufacturing environment.
