As you develop within the business, the role will evolve beyond financial control into commercial finance, giving you exposure to strategic decision-making and a genuine progression path.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end close across a portfolio of clients
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Produce variance analysis and KPI reporting
- Prepare and review VAT returns
- Ensure statutory deadlines and compliance requirements are met
- Build strong relationships with clients and become their day-to-day finance contact
- Review reconciliations, journals and financial reporting completed by the wider team
- Improve internal systems and processes using AI tools and automation
- Prepare client meeting packs and support strategic finance discussions
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and adding commercial value.
You'll ideally have:
- ACA or ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience preparing management accounts and running month-end
- Hands-on experience with VAT returns and year-end accounts
- An interest in AI and technology, with a willingness to learn new ways of working
