Sales & Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Service Advisor to join our client's team in Cardiff. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading UK manufacturer, retailer, and reseller of trailers and towing products. The successful individual will become an integral part of a friendly and professional team, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance.

• Salary of 26,208 per annum
• Performance-based sales bonus up to 560 per month
• Optional overtime paid at standard rate
• 32 days holiday including bank holidays

• No weekend work, with a standard 37.5-hour week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm)

Duties of the Sales & Service Advisor:

• Promote and sell trailers, parts, and towing accessories face-to-face and over the telephone
• Serve customers efficiently at the trade counter, on-site or remotely
• Provide expert advice on trailers, services, and towing accessories
• Manage trailer hire and towbar fitting orders, updating the schedule accordingly
• Coordinate with the workshop team to ensure smooth operations
• Manage stock ordering, shelving, and presentation to maximise customer interest
• Maintain displays to ensure they are attractive and up-to-date
• Assist with small trailer assembly and servicing of hire fleet, when required
• Build and strengthen customer relationships to encourage repeat business and sales growth

Requirements of the Sales & Service Advisor:

• Live within reasonable commuting distance of Cardiff
• Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
• Prior experience in a customer service role within the automotive sector is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with trailer/towbar fitting is desirable but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to workload
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work well within a team and contribute to sales targets as the Sales & Service Advisor
