Financial Controller

This large and acquisitive business are investing in its finance function and is looking for a qualified accountant who wants to make a genuine impact. You will lead a team of three Management Accountants across three sites helping them develop into a high-performing finance team while partnering with the wider business to drive commercial performance.

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of three Management Accountants across three sites.
• Reviewing monthly management accounts and ensuring high-quality, timely reporting.
• Improving financial controls, reporting processes and month-end delivery.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Partnering with operational leaders to improve business performance.
• Driving continuous improvement projects across the finance function.
• Providing commercial insight to support strategic decision making.

About you

You do not necessarily need extensive management experience. More important is your ability to inspire, coach and develop people while building strong relationships across the business.
