This exciting fixed-term opportunity will play a key role in delivering the University's sustainability ambitions while leading a range of campus services that directly support the student and staff experience. The post is offered on a fixed-term basis until June 2027. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Estates & Facilities, you will lead the delivery of sustainability initiatives across campus, curriculum and community, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive positive environmental change. You will champion the University's sustainability roadmap, oversee key projects, manage data and reporting requirements, and contribute to achieving ambitious sustainability targets and sector recognition. The role also provides leadership for Campus Services, including compliance, fire safety, planned preventative maintenance and car parking operations. You will be responsible for managing and developing teams, improving service performance, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring the University continues to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of sustainability, excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, and experience of delivering improvement in a complex organisation.
