This role is focused on the origination and execution of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Development Finance transactions, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, introducers, professional services firms and clients. Annual financial statements must however be available on demand, if requested by IoM financial conduct authority • Updating and developing the three-year rolling forecast to keep the investor fully appraised of changes to both projected EBITDA and cash positions • Coordinating and managing preparation of the annual budget • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls to include bank account access & approval, effective use of Paperless invoice scanning and approval process. • Ensuring all IoM and mainland UK tax filing deadlines are adhered to • Preparing reports which identify results, trends, and forecasts • Responsible for financial risk management, working hand in glove with other members of the management team to create risk minimisation plans • Other ad hoc projects as required Knowledge, Skills & Experience: • Must have excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills and be able to work to tight but realistic deadlines. • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insight that will drive business performance • Solid practical experience gained within a fast-paced commercial environment. • Successful candidate must be confident leading and developing a finance team and be able to influence people at all levels • An outgoing personality, effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross functionally are essential in this role • Must be a driven and motivated individual • Minimum 5yrs PQE (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA) • Experience of Sage, ideally Sage 50 desirable, but not essential • Computer literate with advanced proficiency with MS Excel • Prior experience in a multi-site, service-oriented business environment is beneficial If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role, click on APPLY today, forwarding an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.
