This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished housing professional to take a leading role in delivering high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management services across a diverse housing portfolio. You will lead a team of Neighbourhood Officers, manage complex tenancy issues, drive service improvements, and ensure the delivery of excellent outcomes for residents. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of tenancy management services across the council's housing stock. Manage neighbourhood and estate management operations, ensuring high service standards. Person Specification To be considered, you will ideally have: Significant experience within tenancy management, housing management or a related housing environment. Strong knowledge of current housing legislation, policy and best practice. Proven experience leading and managing teams. Experience managing complex tenancy and neighbourhood management issues. The ability to set objectives, monitor performance and drive service improvements. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions. The post holder will be working full time from our client's Enfield office and expected to own a patch of approximately (Apply online only) units which will include shared ownership and mainly general needs homes. You will be expected to seek out solutions for all customers whatever their needs and will need to be able to think independently and creatively. Covering a geographical patch locally in North London (e.g Enfield, Barnet, Waltham Forest & Haringey), this is a full time post (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and the successful candidate will be expected to have knowledge of/experience in: Delivering a customer-focused neighbourhood management service across a defined area. Conducting inspections to maintain property standards and safety. Managing tenancy breaches, including Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), in line with policies. Performing tenancy audits to ensure all tenant details are current and accurate. Collaborating with external agencies to provide the best support for our tenants. Assisting with rent collection and arrears management in partnership with our Income Team. Engaging with tenants to enhance their living experience and address their needs. Please note, a car driver/owner is not essential for this role as you can get around your patch by foot and public transport. Expertise in anti social behaviour would be highly desirable.
