Solid technical understanding of web and API services (e.g. cookies, IP addresses, authentication processes) and threats to those services from cybercrime actors and tools. Experience using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, preferably in a security operations setting. A sound understanding of Identity, Verification and Authentication principles. HOW YOU'LL SPEND MOST OF YOUR TIME Managing a mixed ER caseload end-to-end: disciplinaries, grievances, performance, absence and appeals. Planning and supporting restructures and redundancies, including timelines, scripts, letters and consultations. Coaching managers to handle conversations well and make fair, consistent decisions. Drafting and reviewing documentation: investigation reports, outcome letters, settlement agreements and notes. Keeping case trackers, MI and risk logs up to date, and preparing clear summaries for stakeholders. Collaborating with HR colleagues and external advisors to ensure compliance and best practice. EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS Managing a high-volume ER caseload in a multi-site or service-led organisation. Supporting restructures and redundancies, including collective or individual consultation. Working with employee representatives or unions and navigating sensitive stakeholder dynamics. Using HRIS and case management systems to maintain accurate records and MI. Designing or delivering ER training or toolkits for managers.
