Partner / Associate (8+ PQE) - Construction

Nottinghamshire or Lincolnshire Hybrid Working

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Solicitor or Senior Litigator looking to develop their career within a growing and supportive team.

This role is open to candidates with 8+ years' PQE who have experience in construction law or a strong litigation background and are interested in retraining into construction. Full support and mentoring will be provided for the right individual with transferable skills.

You'll be joining a well-established and collaborative team, working on a varied caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth and development of the department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a senior position with genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role
  • Advising on a broad range of construction-related matters.
  • Managing your own caseload of contentious and/or non-contentious work, depending on experience.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Supporting business development and networking activities.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
  • Contributing to the ongoing growth of the department.
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years' PQE.
  • Experience in Construction Law or a strong background in Litigation with a desire to specialise in construction.
  • Commercially minded with excellent client care skills.
  • Confident managing files independently and handling complex matters.
  • Previous supervision or leadership experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A proactive approach to business development and relationship building.
