We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive. What You'll Do As the Global Marketing Manager for BCG's Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Practice Area, you will play a key role in supporting the team to bring our marketing strategy to life in earned, owned and paid channels across all three sectors. You will partner closely with the Global TMT Marketing team (a close-knit team), PA leadership, sector leads, and global and local Marketing & Communications (M&C) teams to build TMT's brand as one of BCG's most dynamic and innovative practice areas. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who wants to build their marketing career over the long term with plenty of scope to grow into the role. You'll be given real ownership from day one with the expectation that you will bring ideas to the table, execute independently, while backed by a small team of marketers that will support you. We're especially interested in marketers who are early in their project-leadership journey, hungry to build breadth across every dimension of marketing, and excited by a function that is actively reinventing how it works, with AI at the core of how we plan, create and measure. Strategy & Campaigns Help shape and deliver the Global TMT marketing plan, translating the practice's commercial priorities across Technology, Media and Telecom into integrated campaigns that span earned, owned and paid channels. Own end-to-end delivery of campaigns from brief to results - sequencing content and channels, and keeping every workstream on track. Build and manage media partnerships to promote TMT's flagship content and campaigns where relevant, working with media partners to secure the right placements. Track performance and ROI across paid and partnership activity, and use the results to sharpen future targeting Events & Executive Management Support the TMT Global Marketing Manager and Senior Manager in planning and executing global flagship events (such as Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and CES in Las Vegas), other third-party events with CxOs, executive stakeholder engagements, and strategic marketing/media partnerships. This includes owning invite management, logistics, on-the-ground delivery and post-event evaluation. Keep a finger on the pulse of where our clients and prospective clients are showing up, and use that to identify and propose new media partnership opportunities that could extend TMT's reach. Prepare briefing materials for senior stakeholders and coordinate the many moving pieces that make a high-profile event run smoothly. Track performance and ROI across partnership activity, using the results to sharpen future targeting and creative. Data, Tools & AI-Powered Marketing Track campaign KPIs and marketing performance using tools such as PowerBI and Tableau and summarise activity and impact for PA leadership. Help the team explore and adopt AI tools and workflows across day-to-day marketing work - from using Claude to draft, research and analyse, to helping design simple AI-assisted workflows or agents that make the team's work faster and sharper. Bring fresh ideas about where automation and AI can remove friction from campaign planning, content production or reporting, and help pilot them with the team. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree required. Around 4 - 6 years of relevant marketing, communications or campaign experience - ideally in B2B communications or marketing, consulting, professional services or the technology, media or telecom sectors. Agency experience desired. This role is designed for someone stepping into a manager-level scope for the first time, or early in that transition, not someone looking for a role that matches years of prior management experience. Some exposure across earned, owned and/or paid marketing; you don't need to be deep in all three, but you're keen to build genuine range across the full mix. A growth mindset: motivated by expanding your scope and responsibility over time, and comfortable that not every answer will be known on day one. Experience working to news cycles or reacting at pace is a plus - comfort with ambiguity and shaping a point of view under time pressure will serve you well here. A genuine interest in AI and how it's changing marketing work. Hands-on experience with Claude or similar AI tools, prompt design, or building simple AI-assisted workflows or agents is a strong plus - but real enthusiasm and willingness to learn matters just as much as prior experience. Proficiency with standard marketing and productivity tools (Microsoft Office, project trackers, etc.); familiarity with martech or analytics platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Wrike, PowerBI, Tableau, Sprinklr, Signal AI or similar) is helpful but not essential - we'll support you in picking these up. Highly professional, service-oriented and adaptable, with the maturity to perform well under pressure. Who You'll Work With You'll work as part of a tight team of three, reporting into the Global Marketing Manager and Global Marketing Senior Manager for TMT, depending on the project you're supporting. You and the TMT Marketing team will work on projects that align to commercial priorities set out by the PAL and sector leaders. This includes helping to develop plans, execute them across all marketing channels, and report on their impact back to BCG's Global Marketing MDP. You'll also work alongside members of the Practice Area Management & Operations team, who keep BCG's industry and functional practice areas operating responsively and efficiently. Additional info You're good at Taking a brief and getting stuck in: you don't need every detail spelled out, and you're keen to make sensible judgment calls and ask sharp questions rather than waiting to be told exactly what to do next. Working proactively and building your independence over time: once you understand the goal, you can plan your approach, get on with the work, and know when to flag issues or ask for guidance. Thinking across the marketing mix, including content, campaigns and events, and enjoying the variety of moving between strategic and hands-on work in the same day. Moving quickly on reactive opportunities, helping turn a live news moment into a timely, on-brand response. Collaborate confidently with senior colleagues, and learning to anticipate their needs and adapt to different working styles. Staying organised under a varied, fast-moving workload, with a genuine appetite to keep learning and take on more scope over time. Bringing curiosity to new tools and ways of working, including AI, rather than waiting for a playbook to be handed to you. Being comfortable working in a true global matrix, with team members spread across different time zones and offices, and happy to flex your hours and style to make that collaboration work. Being a genuine team player with a collaborative, can-do attitude, happy to flex when priorities shift or something unexpected lands. Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Who We Are Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact. To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures-and business purpose. Build strong working relationships with TMT stakeholders and subject matter experts so campaigns reflect what's genuinely resonating in each sector. Content & Amplification Partner with authors and experts to shape compelling narratives and storylines across LinkedIn and other channels, and own the communications and marketing plan for each piece of content. This includes briefing writers on angle and audience, then guiding it through drafting and editing to publication Monitor the industry competitor landscape across Technology, Media and Telecom, spotting moments where BCG can credibly and quickly enter the conversation Take ownership of reactive moments tied to the TMT calendar, inc. earnings cycles, regulatory shifts (e.g. the EU AI Act), major sector IPOs, turning them into timely, on-brand content.
