What You'll Do We are dedicated to building AI-driven solutions that redefine our products, processes, and technology to deliver exceptional value, service, and flexibility to our consultants. Agile methodologies are central to this approach, and we seek leaders who are passionate about fostering this mindset across teams and business operations. You will play a pivotal role in establishing standards, practices, and expertise within your squad. You will act as a "player-coach," directly contributing to squad work while cultivating engineering talent. By integrating solution architecture expertise with a focus on talent development, you will lead the creation and delivery of impactful GenAI products, enabling transformative outcomes for our business and customers. Among your responsibilities, you will: Leadership & Development Build, coach, and mentor engineers. Lead by example as a "player-coach": directly contributing to code and architecture, while growing engineering talent and setting best practices. Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and curiosity. Technical Excellence Champion engineering excellence, clean architecture, and maintainable code across squads. Hands-on in backend development - leading complex problem-solving in Python (especially FastAPI). Architect and support secure, scalable, and stable APIs and services that integrate with LLMs and modern cloud platforms (AWS). Promote DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality assurance. Leverage AI/agentic engineering tools for rapid development, with code-quality top of mind. GenAI & System Thinking Drive adoption and experimentation with large language models (LLMs), working closely with product and research teams. Prioritize efficiencies by using AI engineering tools within your team. Identify and articulate system-level tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities in AI-enabled architectures. Stay current with AI and software engineering trends, contributing to technical strategy, experimentation, and roadmap definition. YOU'RE GOOD AT Inspiring and enabling others, people want to work with and learn from you. Enjoying coaching and developing people to improve their personal performance, knowledge, and expertise. Thinking in systems and balancing tech trade-offs for long-term scalability. Driving quality, performance, and security in everything you build. Both planning and design along with execution and support. Pushing a bias toward action and ownership, with empathy and a growth mindset. Data-driven decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs.
