Soldering Technician to join a successful and growing organisation based in York. Working within a modern facility, you will play a key role in the production process, carrying out soldering and assembly work to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, accurately and to the highest quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in soldering, electronics assembly, manufacturing or a hands on production environment. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical skills within a supportive and forward-thinking business.
Responsibilities of Soldering Technician:- Carry out soldering and electronic assembly work in line with company procedures and quality standards
- Assemble components accurately using hand tools and production equipment
- Complete visual inspections and quality checks on soldered components and finished products
- Follow technical drawings, work instructions and production specifications
- Ensure soldering equipment, tools and workstations are maintained and ready for use
- Accurately complete production records and documentation
- Identify and report any issues affecting quality, workmanship or production output
- Handle components and materials carefully to minimise damage and waste
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Work closely with colleagues and team leaders to meet production requirements and deadlines
Skills & Experience:- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and consistently
- Good manual dexterity and hand eye coordination
- Ability to carry out precise, detailed work for extended periods
- A practical and technical mindset with a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow technical instructions, processes and procedures carefully
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Positive, reliable and team focused approach
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
