KO2 Recruitment is working with a fantastic client in the Burnley area, looking for a talented Mobile Web Developer to join their team on a maternity cover basis. You'll step into a key role, helping build and maintain mobile-first web experiences that delight customers and generate significantly fewer support tickets.

This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact, work with a great team, and inherit a codebase that is well documented. This role offers very flexible remote working and you will only be required to visit the office once a week.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing responsive web applications that work across phones, tablets, and other devices
• Collaborating with designers, product owners, and fellow developers
• Optimising performance.
• Troubleshooting bugs
• Writing clean, maintainable code
• Participating in code reviews and sharing best practices
• Testing across browsers; including Safari and others

What You'll Need

• Strong, hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue
• Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Comfortable using browser debugging tools

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Accessibility expertise
• A healthy respect for CSS, but no fear of it
