Senior Project Manager - NPI
Location: Clevedon, North Somerset
Salary: Up to £63,000 DOE + Bonus
Working Pattern: Hybrid

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong technical or engineering background?

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of complex New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, helping take new products and technologies from development through to successful delivery.

This is a senior position where you'll work across engineering, software, manufacturing and other functions, coordinating teams and ensuring projects are delivered against agreed timescales, budgets, quality standards and requirements.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned projects within a wider programme, working closely with technical and business stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading complex technical and NPI projects from planning through to delivery
  • Developing detailed project plans, timelines and Work Breakdown Structures
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve key milestones
  • Managing project budgets, schedules, quality and delivery requirements
  • Identifying and managing risks, actions, issues and decisions
  • Providing clear project updates to senior stakeholders
  • Managing changes to project scope and requirements
  • Identifying resource requirements and resolving delivery constraints
  • Working across multiple sites and with global teams
  • Influencing stakeholders and driving accountability across project teams
  • Supporting and mentoring Project Managers and Associate Project Managers


About You

We're looking for someone with significant experience managing complex technical projects, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, product development or technology environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • A degree in an Engineering, Technical or Science discipline
  • Significant experience managing complex technical projects or programmes
  • Experience delivering projects involving new product development or NPI
  • Experience working with software-related projects
  • Experience managing projects across multiple sites or global teams
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience using project planning tools such as Microsoft Project
  • Experience managing RAID logs
  • Understanding of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • A recognised Project or Programme Management qualification such as APM PMQ or PRINCE2, or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to take ownership and drive delivery
