HGV Class 2 Driver

Class 2 Driver (Cat C) Brimsdown, Enfield
£18.00 per hour

The RoleWe are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our busy pallet distribution operation based in Brimsdown, Enfield.

This is a customer-facing role involving the delivery and collection of palletised goods to both residential and commercial properties. Drivers start at 08:15 AM and typically complete two runs per day, carrying out deliveries during the morning and early afternoon before completing customer collections later in the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 curtain-sided vehicle.
  
  
• Deliver palletised freight to residential and commercial customers.
  
  
• Complete afternoon collections on behalf of customers.
  
  
• Load and unload pallets using a tail lift and pump truck.
  
  
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  
  
• Complete delivery paperwork and PODs accurately.
  
  
• Provide professional customer service at all times.
  
  
• Follow all transport, health & safety, and company procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
  
  
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  
  
• Digital Tachograph Card.
  
  
• Previous experience in pallet network, multidrop, or general haulage work.
  
  
• Confident using:
  
  
  • Tail lifts
    
    
  • Pump trucks
    
    
  • Curtain-sided vehicles
    
    
• Good understanding of safe loading and unloading practices.
  
  
• Strong communication and time management skills.
  
  
• A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
