Warehouse and Production Team Leader

Hexeal is a fast-growing FMCG e-commerce business shipping approximately 25,000 orders per week across the UK. We are looking for an organised, driven and hands-on team leader to support the warehouse & Production operation. This is a varied role combining hands-on leadership, quality control, continuous improvement and administrative support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our warehouse and production departments operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Job Overview

What you'll do:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound, adhering to tight deadlines
• Liaise with the supervisor and Assistant Manager to ensure issues are dealt with promptly
• Oversee the quality assurance of goods before they go out
• Support with training and day-to-day supervision of a team of up to 40 warehouse operatives
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety legislation.
• Provide weekend support for label printing - You will be expected to work one in three Saturdays
• Allocate work and monitor team performance.

Required:

• Be able to work effectively under pressure while always maintaining a professional approach
• 2+ years' experience in a warehouse or logistics team leader role
• Good level of physical fitness - this is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting
• Flexibility around shift timings
• Excellent people and organisational skills, supported by strong attention to detail
• Must be PC literate

Desirable:

• First aid
• Knowledge of COSHH
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Experience

Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:00- 17:00, one in three Saturdays 7:30 - 14:00. Flexibility will be required around working hours. Salary: £32,000
