A highly regarded executive search firm is seeking a German-speaking Executive Assistant to support a senior Partner for an eight-month maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing business working with senior executives, investors and industry leaders across the UK and Europe. The business offers a flexible hybrid working model, with two days per week in their West End office, and is open to considering both full-time and part-time applicants . Supporting a Founding Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of their day-to-day activities while also providing support across business development initiatives and wider team operations. This is a varied and fast-paced position requiring exceptional organisation, strong communication skills and the confidence to work proactively with senior stakeholders. Start date: Early October Duration: 8 month contract Salary: £40,000-£45,000 pro rata What you'll do: Comprehensive diary and inbox management for a senior Partner Coordinating meetings with clients and candidates across the UK and internationally Arranging domestic and international travel Supporting business development activities, including organising networking events and client dinners Managing candidate administration, interview scheduling and appointments Reviewing and coordinating incoming CVs and correspondence Handling telephone enquiries and acting as a key point of contact Maintaining accurate data and office systems Preparing presentations and client meeting materials Conducting background research and supporting live assignments Providing wider administrative support to the operations team as required. Who you are: This role would suit an experienced Executive Assistant or highly organised administrative professional who thrives in a busy, professional environment. You'll be proactive, adaptable and enjoy building strong working relationships with senior stakeholders. Essential Requirements Fluent or native-level German language skills (essential) Previous Executive Assistant experience or strong transferable office administration experience Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English Strong ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously A proactive, self-starting approach with excellent problem-solving skills Confidence supporting senior stakeholders and working independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office A collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
