Job Description

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Ductwork Project Manager to join an established and growing specialist ductwork contractor.

This is a multi-site position, so we're looking for someone comfortable managing several live projects and travelling between sites within their respective region.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of ductwork and ventilation packages from pre-construction/handover through installation, commissioning and completion.

You'll act as the key point of contact between site teams, clients and senior management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple ductwork and ventilation projects across the region

Oversee projects from initial handover through to completion

Coordinate site labour, supervisors and subcontractors

Monitor installation progress against programme

Attend client and project progress meetings

Review drawings, specifications and project requirements

Produce and maintain progress reports and marked-up drawings

Coordinate materials, deliveries and site requirements

Ensure RAMS and relevant H&S procedures are implemented

Manage quality control, inspections, snagging and project close-out

Monitor programme, labour and productivity across each project

Liaise closely with commercial, design and manufacturing teams

Build strong working relationships with clients and main contractors

Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard

About You

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have come through the ductwork / ventilation industry rather than general building services alone.

You may currently be working as a:

Ductwork Project Manager

Ventilation Project Manager

Ductwork Contracts Manager

Airside Project Manager

Senior Ductwork Site Manager / Supervisor looking to progress

You'll ideally have:

Strong experience delivering ductwork / ventilation installations

Good technical knowledge of GSS and general ductwork systems

Experience with fire-rated ductwork would be advantageous

Understanding of airside systems including AHUs, fans and dampers

Experience managing labour and multiple site teams

Strong knowledge of health & safety, RAMS and QA procedures

Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications

Strong client-facing and communication skills

Commercial awareness and an understanding of project costs

SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification preferred

Full UK driving licence

The Opportunity

This is a strong opportunity to join an established specialist contractor delivering substantial ductwork and airside packages across commercial, fit-out, healthcare, residential, leisure and major construction projects.

Rather than being tied permanently to one project, you'll have responsibility for a portfolio of projects within your region, giving you autonomy over delivery while working closely with the wider contracts and commercial teams.
