Chef de Partie (x2) - Immediate Start Location: Theme Park & Resort, Malton, North Yorkshire Rate of Pay: £17.23 per hour Contract: Temporary, Immediate start to mid-September Hours: Flexible, with typical shifts of 11:30am - 11:30pm We're currently recruiting two experienced Chef de Parties to join the catering team at a busy theme park and resort in Malton, North Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for chefs who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for immediate work for the remainder of the summer season. You'll work across a variety of food outlets throughout the park, including pizza, burger and quick-service concepts, helping to deliver a consistently high standard of food and service to our guests. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook food to company standards. Support the day-to-day operation of your allocated kitchen section. Maintain excellent food hygiene, allergen and health & safety standards. Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an efficient service. Adapt to different catering outlets as required. Essential Requirements Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate. Food Allergen Awareness Certificate. Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume kitchen. Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends. Uniform & Equipment Please arrive with: Chef's whites. Safety shoes. Chef's hat or skull cap. Butcher's apron. Your own sharp knives, safely stored in a knife roll or hard case. Please DO NOT wrap knives in a cloth. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality food Shift Pattern 5 days on, 2 days off Flexible working days, including weekends Early and late shifts on a rota basis Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to company standards. Manage your designated section efficiently during service. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety. Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Work effectively as part of a busy, professional kitchen team. Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Chef de Partie (CDP) or in a similar role. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work early, late, and weekend shifts. Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable). Must be able to provide an HMRC Employment History Letter and 5 years of checkable employment history. Must be able to obtain or hold a DBS check.
