Are you an experienced Process Engineer who enjoys getting under the skin of how things are made, improving processes and making sure the documentation behind them is right?
We're working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Rugby that is looking to appoint a Process & Documentation Lead to take ownership of manufacturing processes, technical documentation and process compliance across the business.
This is a hands-on and influential role where you'll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Project Management to ensure products can be manufactured safely, efficiently, consistently and to the required customer and quality standards.
The RoleYou'll be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes for both new and existing products, while ensuring the documentation, controls and training are in place to support production.

We're looking for someone with solid experience developing manufacturing processes within an engineering or manufacturing environment, together with a strong understanding of controlled manufacturing documentation.
You'll ideally have experience with:
A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline would be advantageous, although strong demonstrable industrial experience will absolutely be considered.
Desirable ExperienceExperience within electric motor manufacturing would be particularly interesting, especially exposure to areas such as winding, rotor and stator assembly, lamination stacking, balancing and end-of-line testing.
Knowledge of IEC 60034 or NEMA MG1 standards would also be highly beneficial, as would experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
