Are you an experienced Welder looking for a new opportunity with a well-established fabrication business?

We're currently recruiting for a Welder to join a busy fabrication team based near Ipswich.

You'll be carrying out MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies, working as part of a wider fabrication team.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out MIG welding on metal components and assemblies
• Preparing and positioning materials ready for welding
• Reading basic engineering drawings and work instructions
• Using welding equipment and hand tools safely
• Carrying out basic fabrication and finishing work
• Inspecting completed welds and reporting any defects
• Keeping the workshop clean and organised
• Following all Health & Safety procedures
• Supporting the wider fabrication team with general duties

• Previous welding experience
• MIG welding experience
• Ability to follow basic engineering drawings and instructions
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment

16.00 per hour
Ipswich
Monday-Thursday

07:00-17:30
40 hours per week

Safety boots required

A full Health & Safety induction will be provided on your first day.
