Manchester Hybrid - 2/3 days in the office

Our client is looking for an outgoing, creative and energetic Social Media & Content Creator to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, keeps up with the latest trends and news, and enjoys creating engaging content that gets people talking.

You'll be comfortable being the face of the brand, getting out and about to create content, interviewing people and finding creative ways to build an engaged online community.

The Role

You'll be responsible for creating and developing engaging social content across multiple platforms, helping grow the organisation's online presence and community.

This will include:

• Creating engaging video and social media content.
• Appearing on camera and being comfortable as a brand representative.
• Getting out and about to film vox pops, interviews and other content.
• Interviewing people for social media and turning conversations into engaging content.
• Keeping up to date with the latest social media trends, platforms, news and developments.
• Editing video and creating content suitable for different social channels.
• Developing creative ideas and campaigns that generate engagement.
• Helping build and grow an active online community.
• Monitoring what is happening in the news and identifying opportunities for relevant, topical content.
• Working with the wider marketing team to develop the organisation's social media presence and brand.

About You

We're looking for someone who is naturally outgoing, creative and energetic, with excellent people skills and a genuine passion for social media.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience creating social media content, particularly video.
• Strong video editing skills.
• Confidence appearing on camera.
• Experience interviewing people or creating vox-pop style content.
• A strong understanding of current social media trends and platforms.
• A genuine interest in current affairs and the latest news.
• Experience building or engaging online communities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A creative approach and the confidence to try new ideas.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team.
• A positive, energetic and engaging personality.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling and can turn ideas, conversations and current events into engaging social content.

Working Arrangements

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation that you'll be in the office around 2-3 days per week, as and when required.
