Pallet Network & Customer Service Coordinator

We're looking for a Pallet Network & Customer Service Coordinator to join our busy transport team based in Stockport. This is a varied role that combines operational planning with customer relationship management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment. The role involves coordinating pallet network collections and deliveries, managing customer enquiries, and working closely with drivers and operational teams to ensure an outstanding service is delivered every day.

• Coordinating daily pallet network collections and deliveries.
• Managing customer bookings and service enquiries.
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers regarding collections, deliveries and service updates.
• Building strong relationships with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Monitoring deliveries and proactively resolving any service issues.
• Providing transport quotations and processing customer bookings.
• Maintaining accurate records using transport and customer management systems.
• Supporting key customer accounts and helping to improve customer satisfaction.
• Working collaboratively with transport, warehouse and customer service teams to deliver operational excellence.
  

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good IT skills and confidence using business systems.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Previous experience within transport, logistics, distribution, customer service or a similar operational environment would be beneficial.
