Working closely with the Services Manager, site management team, consultants and specialist subcontractors, you will help ensure all M&E installations are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, programme and quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in building services management within a main contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating mechanical and electrical installations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with M&E subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical submissions, identifying design clashes and coordination issues.
  • Monitor progress on site to ensure installations meet programme requirements.
  • Assist with managing technical queries, design changes and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure M&E works comply with relevant regulations, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
  • Attend coordination meetings and maintain accurate records of progress and outstanding actions.
  • Support inspections, testing, commissioning and handover documentation.
  • Identify potential issues and assist in developing practical solutions to minimise delays and disruption.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Previous experience in an M&E, building services or construction-related role.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within construction projects.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and design information.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities.
The Ideal Candidate

You will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented and keen to develop your technical knowledge and project management skills. You should be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and have a strong interest in the coordination and delivery of building services on complex construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside an experienced team and progress your career towards a Services Manager role.
