Their UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful Lead Mechanical Fitter can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate.

Key responsibilities of the Lead Mechanical Fitter:

• Working in an actively hands on Assistant Supervisory/Leading position within a Mechanical Fitting & Testing focused department
• Preparing Rotating Machinery (Pumps, Gearboxes & Motors) for pre shipping testing by installing various mechanical equipment & instruments, this involves frequent use of overhead cranes to lift heavy equipment, tools & machines
• Deputising for the Supervisor where necessary and offering support & guidance to colleagues
• Consistently monitoring workload with a view of maintaining manufacturing schedules & job progress
• Ensuring company policies, procedures and processes are consistently adhered to

Working Hours of the Lead Mechanical Fitter:
37 Hours per week working a regular day shift

• Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30
• Friday - 07:00 to 12:30

In return, the Lead Mechanical Fitter will receive:

• Starting Salary: 40,156.00 ( 20.87 per hour)
• Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays - rising to 38 days with continued service
• Annual Bonus up to 1,700.00 per annum - subject to company performance
• Pension Scheme: 15% Combined Contribution (9% Employer / 6% Employee)
