Machine Setter
Location: Sittingbourne
A fantastic opportunity has come up for our client based in Sittingbourne for a Machine Setter to join their production team. The role will involve setting their machinery, in aid of manufacturing their products.
Some duties will include:
- Setting and general maintenance of machines and other associated production equipment
- Draw raw material from stores, load onto machines and record the information as per company procedures.
- Stage and final inspections of products
- Provide general support and assistance to Machine Operators
- Produce good quality measured work
- Ensure that all manufacturing equipment and tooling is kept in good order.
- Attend machines in the event of a breakdown.
Hours:
40 hrs per week with a 1/2 hour lunch - Monday - Thursday: 07.30 - 16.15 - Friday: 07.30 - 14.45

The successful candidate for the Machine Setter role will have excellent attention to detail, able to work to deadlines, great time management and have some relevant manufacturing experience working in an engineering or maintenance role.
