Domestic Plumber

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Plumbers to join the Assets, Regeneration and Construction Services team at Berneslai Homes on a temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity to carry out a wide range of plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installation work across council dwellings, schools, and public buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing works including maintenance, repairs, and installations on council properties.

• Install central heating systems, boilers, baths, showers, sinks, and sanitary ware.

• Renew and repair external water services, gutters, fall pipes, and soil stacks.

• Fit and refurbish kitchens and bathrooms, including all associated plumbing works.

• Liaise with tenants, colleagues, managers, and caretakers to ensure works are completed efficiently.

• Maintain vehicle stock levels and complete work documentation accurately.

• Work at height safely, using appropriate equipment.

• Provide high standards of customer service in all aspects of work.

• Be available for out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as required.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (essential).

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in relation to plumbing.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
