The Company:We are pleased to be supporting a successful business in their search for a Fleet & Logistics manager to lead a successful team in a fast paced, growing businessThe Role:The Fleet & Logistics Manager will hold strategic and operational responsibility for the company's commercial vehicle fleet and logistics operations across the UK.You will oversee and support the Transport and Logistics team to ensure all fleet, transport, and logistics functions are safe, compliant, and cost-effective.Your remit will include long-term fleet strategy, compliance oversight, supplier and lease management, logistics performance, and cost efficiency - ensuring the fleet and transport network underpin the business's national growth and service delivery.The Person:• Minimum 5+ years' experience in fleet management, logistics, or transport operations, ideally in a multi-site or national business.• Proven experience managing teams and developing managers.• Strong knowledge of transport compliance, operator licence requirements, and driver safety best practice.• Commercially astute with a track record of delivering cost savings and efficiency improvements.• Experience of supplier management and contract negotiation.• Industry experience in home improvement, construction, or field service sectors desirable but not essential.
