We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Teacher to join our specialist team at a vibrant and nurturing school in Stretford that supports children with a wide range of complex learning needs, including ASD, PMLD, SLD, and medical or sensory needs.

Our pupils require bespoke, engaging and accessible learning experiences - and we're looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, innovation and patience to the role every single day.

About the Role:
  • Plan and deliver creative, individualised lessons tailored to a diverse range of abilities and needs

  • Lead a small class of pupils with high staff-to-child ratios and strong multi-agency support

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to meet each pupil's EHCP targets

  • Foster a safe, structured, and emotionally supportive classroom environment

  • Monitor progress closely and adapt teaching strategies to maximise pupil engagement and achievement

About You:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Primary or Specialism preferred

  • Experience working with children with complex needs and/or profound and multiple learning difficulties

  • Strong understanding of SEN best practice, sensory learning, and alternative communication strategies (PECS, Makaton, etc.)

  • Patient, flexible and resilient approach

  • Excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills
