Primary Teacher - Long-Term Temporary Role (Reception/Year 1 Mixed Class)
We're currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Winchester. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position starting after October half term and continuing until the end of the academic year.
Role Details:
- Location: Winchester
- Start Date: After October Half Term onwards.
- Working Pattern: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
- Class: Mixed Reception / Year 1
- Salary: £130 to £220.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality phonics sessions using the Little Wandle scheme
- Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN needs, including SEMH and GLD
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages progress and engagement
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experienced in EYFS and KS1 teaching
- Confident in managing and supporting SEN pupils within a mainstream setting
- Familiarity with Little Wandle or similar phonics schemes (training available)
- Passionate about creating inclusive and inspiring learning experiences
